Here we have both Series 1 episodes (11 and 12) of a classic Star Trek - The Menagerie from 1966 on 4 x 600ft reels of Super 8. This was originally and unauthorised release by Canterbury Films (New York) which was sold by dealers at Film Fairs in the USA. Effectively the first Star Trek 'feature' in that it runs for 1 hour 40 mins. Very few Star Trek episodes were released on Super 8 so they have become quite collectable. While this film has pink fade (like most Canterbury Film releases) and has flecks and lines throughout, it is still very watchable. The 2 part film allows the story more time to develop than single episodes where the Enterprise arrives at a planet, Jim and Spock get into danger and then escape in the last 5 mins.
