Tom and Jerry films are one of the most collected Super 8's - however the titles can be a bit of a puzzle. As well as the original film title, the films were also released under different titles by distributors such as the French Film office - and not with an exact translation as you might expect.
As an example, I got hold of a film with opening titles Tom, Jerry et Dynamite Le Teuer which translates as 'Dynamite the Killer'. So I looked it up and it did not appear on the Tom & Jerry catalogue. However when I watched the film it turns out to be Old Rockin Chair Tom but with the title changed by Film Office France!
